The QM-DG-DD15A Railroad switch ballast tamper is used for tamping operations during the laying of new tracks and after the renovation of existing tracks. It utilizes a dual-purpose road-rail excavator equipped with tamping attachments, with four tamping picks simultaneously tamping, effectively improving construction efficiency. The average operating rate reaches 150 m/h. The device features 360° rotation and operation adjustment, providing flexible movement and enabling simultaneous tamping of tracks and switches. The integrated control module allows for quick interchange with ballast removal attachments, sleeper changing attachments, and a bucket, enabling highly efficient multi-functional excavator operation.
