Background & Industry Challenge

In long rail installation, welding joints must be leveled at the rail bottom before further track-laying. Traditionally, this task has been carried out with handheld grinders, which are time-consuming, imprecise, labor-intensive, and unsafe, requiring frequent replacement of grinding wheels. On average, leveling one joint manually may take up to 20 minutes. With 6–8 weld joints occurring within a 2–3 km rail section (rail length ~500 m), these delays significantly impact productivity, especially under the strict time limits of railway construction “work windows.”

The unique hinge-and-spring clamping mechanism ensures reliable positioning and allows operators to mount or dismount the machine in under 30 seconds.

3. Dual Power Supply Options

Designed for maximum adaptability, the machine can switch between generator power (AC220V) and lithium battery supply, ensuring continuous operation under various site conditions.

4.Smart Control with Remote Monitoring

Equipped with a PLC-controlled system and wireless remote controller, the operator can observe the milling process in real time while managing operations remotely. This eliminates the need for constant manual observation and adjustment.
